A little bit of Spring in January

The Finn in me is still for a little while longer yearning for a proper winter with lots of snow, however, the kind that stays with us for a few weeks. Not months on end. Yet there's no sign of snow here in the Netherlands, and with the temperatures we are having, not very convinced there will be any this winter.

Instead, it seems we are rapidly moving towards Spring, which I don't terribly mind to be honest. Came across these pastel beauties in my local supermarket while doing groceries, and I simply couldn't resist. So happy I treated myself with flowers :)!

The tulips now get to cheer up the corner in which our Christmas tree was still standing about a week ago.

  2. We, on the other hand, are having quite a cold (for Malta) winter. Strange weather this year.

    1. Hey Loree :)! Yeah, really strange isn't it! I'm hearing that even the southern parts of Scandinavia, Finland included are pretty much without snow.

      Take care!
