I mean, I love the ocean, the seaside atmosphere, the dunes leading down to the beach, the salty air, the sea breeze, the sound of the waves washing ashore, walking barefoot in the sand, the water surface glimmering like millions of tiny little diamonds in the sun, hearing seagulls in the distance, beach huts. Simply, all things coastal.
Having a home in which most, if not all rooms and spaces come with an ocean view is well, my dream really.
Please enter
the mudroom
which leads to the livingroom
and here we have the kitchen
the lovely dining area
the master bedroom
(the floral pillow shams would need to go though)
conveniently with an en suite bathroom
a second double bedroom always comes in handy
and so does a second bathroom
some sleeping space for the kids
cozy area for lazy afternoon reading
to be enjoyed either indoors or outside on the deck
and it never gets boring lounging on the deck
while overlooking the beach. Never.
while overlooking the beach. Never.
bring out the cool refreshments!
I hope you've enjoyed the glimps you got of
"my" charming little beach house.
Do come back anytime :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful house, Nonna. Every detail talks about coastal living. It can be a good place for your ultimate settlement. The place is a representation of peace and silence. As Ralph Waldo Emerson stated, “Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air…”
